Will You Recognize the Truth?

Beliefs & Illusions vs. Truth & Reality

We live in a world where the greatest truths have become veiled behind the greatest lies and illusions. In the absence of any solid evidence of proof regarding original things, people have been left with blind belief as the only foundation to stand on.

Belief is not the same as knowing or knowledge, yet too often people mistake what they believe to be true for what they know to be true. Beliefs also have a way of entangling us in what we want to be true but too often isn’t, sometimes even binding the belief holder to a lie or delusion. This binding power is especially true when it comes to religion (a system of religious beliefs), the spell of which stems from the power of the Latin word it derives from – religere, meaning “to bind fast”.[1]

The good news is the promise that, through the Word that was in the Beginning, everything hidden will become apparent, and what has not been known will be made known. (In a way that has not yet, but will very soon be made known.) And yes, the truth that this Word will reveal really does have the power to set you free, starting with unbinding you from any false religious belief you may have bound yourself to in the absence of the Word’s evidence of truth.

The question is, will you be able to accept the truth when that evidence is finally revealed?

When beliefs are held in the absence of knowledge, such beliefs are held by the ignorant, this word simply meaning one who is lacking knowledge, ignorant coming from ignore, literally meaning “not knowing” or “not to know”, but with the sense of to “be unacquainted” or “take no notice of”. It is in the absence of knowledge, or when knowledge has been intentionally hidden in order to mislead and deceive, that the ignorant are considered innocent, in the sense of being “free from guilt especially through lack of knowledge of evil”.[2]

But do we really want to be ignorant or unaware of evil and the schemes of evil ones, or not know right from wrong?

According to the archetypal story of Humanity, the first Man and Woman were innocent until they gained the knowledge of the tree of good and evil. And yet, by acquiring knowledge or wisdom, religion teaches that they lost their innocence and were the first to be guilty of sin. What was their so-called sin? The act of disobeying an order of the Ruling God of the Garden of Eden!

The word innocent, which speaks literally of in- “not” + nocere “to harm”, does not actually appear in the story of Adam and Eve however. What we are told is that before eating of the tree they were commanded not to eat of, “the man and his wife were both naked, and they were not ashamed”,[3] with “not ashamed” simply meaning they were not filled with the feeling of guilt, while speaking nothing of whether they were free of actual guilt or not, either before or after their fateful act of disobedience. It is also important to point out that the Hebrew word used for “naked” here (arum) is also the Hebrew word for “shrewd, cunning, and crafty”, something the same text specifically tells us the serpent in this story was, more than any other living creature of the field.

By acquiring the knowledge of good and evil, including the knowledge of right and wrong behavior, and having their eyes opened, what we are really being told is that Adam and Eve were no longer under the spell of ignorance, or more specifically, inattentional blindness, or what is also called perceptual blindness. According to modern psychology, inattentional blindness occurs when an observer fails to notice a visual stimulus that is fully visible because it is unexpected, and because the observer’s attention has been diverted. This is the same phenomenon that occurs when a magician performs a sleight of hand magic trick. This inability to see what is right in front of one’s eyes also involves the brain’s inability to process every piece of visual information it is presented with.

Do not presume that the ones behind the blinding diversion in the story of Adam and Eve are evil or deceiving, or that to be cunning always means maliciously deceiving. It can also be used as a way of hiding something in plain sight that needs to be kept hidden in order to preserve and protect it for the future time when it was intended to be revealed.

The disclosure in The Story of Us book series will make it very apparent that the forbidden knowledge gained by the Man and Woman in the biblical story of the Garden of Eden was not passed on to every person born on earth. They have in fact kept the most secret part of it carefully hidden from everyone else ever since, making it known only to their future Bloodline Heir, the one later made known as the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us.

As we have already mentioned, seeing the incontrovertible proof of a truth that has been hidden may be difficult for the minds of some to take in, especially when that truth goes against a collectively held belief. But once your mind is able to form new connections to see what is real as opposed to the illusion of reality, you may simply find yourself saying “okay then” as you accept the evidence you are now able to plainly see. However, being able to accept the visual information being observed is only the beginning, because seeing is not the same as understanding the nature of what is being seen.

And while we invite you to feel our words in your heart, we are not asking you to simply accept them as truth. Examine them carefully. Think carefully. Test how they feel within you, allowing our words to either resonate with you, or be in discordance with you, whichever your heart decides. We only encourage you to make this an honest exploration.

By our deeds and our knowledge, and how we respond to what is made known, each of us will reveal our (respective) nature.
